Russell O’Connell, Executive Chairman
Founder and largest shareholder, Russell O’Connell, created the Chores Group plc, which acquired Myhome from Unilever and floated in Ofex in early 2001. As Excutive Chairman on Admission, Russell has a wealth of experience in business systems and development, specialising in franchising and international licensing. Russell holds responsibility for the ongoing strategy of the Group.
Simon Laird McNeill-Ritchie, Executive Director
Shareholder and former British Diplomat, Simon McNeill-Ritchie is experienced in corporate strategy and finance advice to new businesses. In 2000 he was advisor to one of the fastest growing and largest IPOs on the OFEX trading facility, raising over £5 million. Simon joined the Myhome Group in 2002 as Chairman and has today stepped down from this role to concentrate on his role as CEO of Surface Doctor (Europe) Limited. He remains an Executive Director of the Company.
Jonathan Maxwell Jenkins, Executive Director
Former CEO of Plus Markets Group (which operated the Ofex market) and Head of Forward Foreign Exchange Trading at Schroders. Jonathan Jenkins has over 14 years experience in Financial Services and has a first class BSc in Banking and International Finance. He is also a Member of the Securities Institute. Most recently Jonathan has project managed the move to AIM, as well as corporate communications and a number of other key initiatives. He holds responsibility for implementing many of the day-to-day initiatives of the Group, and liaising with the finance department. He became an Executive Director of the Company on Admission to AIM.
Martin Gerard Ward, Financial Director
Martin is a Chartered Accountant with more than a ten year track record of financial control functions, having been involved with both the day-to-day management of Group finances, budgeting and forecasting. Trained and qualified at Baker Tilly he was most recently financial controller for Technicolor. He has become the Finance Director of the Myhome Group with effect from Admission.
George Robert Boot, FCA - Non-Executive Director
Robert is principal of Robert Boot & Co, chartered accountants. He is also Finance Director of Oakdene Homes plc, which he assisted in its progression from PLUS to AIM. Robert is also a member of the Bank of England panel for South London. Robert is a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees.
Arif Badrudin Virani, ACA - Non-Executive Director
Arif is founder and Managing Director of Accountlets Ltd. He has substantial experience in accounting with a portfolio of companies and individuals. Arif is also a Full Member of the AAT. Arif is a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees.
